Kypri is a quiet area between the settlements of Batsi and Ag. Petros, in a sequence of well organized sandy beaches with crystal clear waters, like Ag Kyprianos small bay, Kypri, Chryssi Ammos and Ag. Petros beaches, with beach bars and restaurants.
The beach is on the main way from Batsi to Gavrio and is sandy with crystal clear waters.
There are beach bars with sunbeds and an excellent water sports school 'WESURFIN', particularly famous for windsurfing courses (for kids too!!!).
If you want water sports then this beach is for you! Surf, windsurf and do canoe or paddle board with the help of a Greek champion as a teacher, George Fragkos, and his amazing team! They will make you love whatever you choose, either you are amateur or a pro! The bar at the beach is also a must for its cocktails and snacks!
Agios Kyprianos Beach
Agios Kyprianos Beach is quite small, in a scenic bay with a chapel on top and an excellent restaurant (all in one!). This bay is top choice by scuba diving local schools.
Chrissi Ammos Beach (Golden Beach)
The beach is on the main road leading from Batsi to Gavrio and is one of the most popular beaches of Andros. It is well organized with sunbeds and beach bar with loud music.
The sand is fine and the water very shallow.
Chrissi Ammos Beach is at short drive from Kypri Apartments at www.andros4u.com
Agios Petros Beach
Agios Petros is a large sandy beach, and quite exposed to the wind. It is fully organized with beach bars, windsurf school and family taverns.
It is a Blue Flag beach and you can enjoy wonderful sunsets.
Ag Petros is a large sandy beach with crystal-clear cool waters, sandy outside and in the sea. Points of interest: lots of space for free-lancers, 3 beach-bars with plenty of parking, 3 restaurants at close distance (by foot), a bakery and a market, windsurf and SUP facilities that respect laws and bathers. Visit it early at Summer (till June) or in Autumn for a more lonely experience.
